TAOYA Atami: Up to 35% off one-night stays with two meals (buffet). A hot spring resort offering afternoon tea in the lounge with a spectacular view—at “no extra charge.”

Rakuten Travel is holding the “Rakuten Travel Super SALE” through October 1, offering great deals on fall and winter travel reservations. The sale features special packages at hotels and hot spring inns nationwide, and when combined with currently available coupons, discounts of up to 35% can be applied.

The hot spring resort hotel “TAOYA Atami” (190-1 Izuyama, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture) is currently offering a basic buffet plan that includes one night’s stay and two meals. For a double occupancy room with an ocean view, the promotional price starts at 22,200 yen per person.

This highly anticipated inn, which opened just this past July as “TAOYA”—the flagship brand of the Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group—offers breathtaking views of the Sagami Sea from every corner of the property, including guest rooms, the lounge, and the “infinity open-air bath” in the main bathhouse.

Another distinctive feature is the “all-inclusive” system, under which most in-hotel services are included in the room rate; guests can enjoy unlimited access to afternoon tea sweets in the lounge, late-night snacks, and a wide variety of beverages—all at no additional charge.

The breakfast and dinner buffets feature a diverse menu, including whole red seabream sashimi and nigiri sushi—specialties unique to Izu—as well as beef steak served with wasabi sauce and “Bokumeshi,” a local dish of rice topped with eel. Guests can also enjoy as much cold beer, local sake, and dessert as they like.
