The September issue of MonoMax, on sale today, includes the “Shaka” accordion-style 4-layer storage shoulder bag as a free gift.

Posted on August 10, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Takarajimasha will release the September 2026 issue of “MonoMax” today, August 7. The price is 1,480 yen. It will be available at bookstores and online retailers.

The bonus item is a “SHAKA” accordion-style 4-compartment shoulder bag. It opens wide for easy viewing of the contents, and you can quickly retrieve items from the four separate storage compartments. It measures approximately 24.5 × 9 × 18.5 cm (width × depth × height) and can hold a 500 mL plastic bottle.

The logo, featured as a single accent on the black background, is a reflective print that glows when it catches the light, such as on dark streets at night. The front features webbing tape for attaching carabiners or keychains, while the back is made of breathable mesh fabric to help prevent sweating.

In addition, the September 2026 special issue of “MonoMax,” released simultaneously, includes a “Captain Stag” shoulder pouch—which allows you to operate your smartphone while it’s inside—and a pair of photochromic sunglasses as freebies. The price is 1,590 yen.
