The Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) will launch a new campaign on April 1, expanding on its “Laugh and Travel, and Good Luck Comes to You” campaign, which has been implemented since fiscal 2021 to stimulate demand for domestic travel.

There will be a total of five application courses that can be applied for at the same time, as well as a W-chance, and winners will receive prizes such as airline tickets, travel vouchers, up to 30,000 yen coupons for their next trip, goods, and more.

The campaign’s special website will feature information on tourism by theme, such as “Japanese Heritage,” “National Parks,” “Adventure Tourism,” and “Ecotourism,” as well as introduce campaigns being conducted throughout Japan for travelers. JAL, ANA, the six JR companies, and other tourism industry players will work together to develop promotions.

The outline of each course is as follows. Detailed application procedures and conditions are listed on the special website.
