“Mitsui Outlet Park Fukuoka Marinoa” Set to Open in April 2027. Partial List of Approximately 220 Stores Released, Including Kyushu Debuts, Nationwide Favorites, and a Giant Monster Hunter Statue

Mitsui Fudosan and Fukuoka Jisho have decided to name the commercial facility being jointly developed on the site of the former “Marinoa City Fukuoka” “Mitsui Outlet Park Fukuoka Marinoa.” The facility is scheduled to open in April 2027.

It consists of two buildings—the outdoor “Outlet Wing” and the indoor “Harbor Wing”—and is home to a total of approximately 220 stores. The Outlet Wing houses approximately 170 stores offering a wide variety of goods, while the Harbor Wing features “MARINOA GOURMET TOWN,” a food zone lined with popular local and national restaurants, as well as a “Ropia” supermarket—one of the largest in Kyushu.

Marinoa Gourmet Town consists of a “food court” with approximately 1,080 seats, “restaurants and cafes” where visitors can enjoy a leisurely meal, and a “food market” offering a variety of sweets and souvenirs. Notable stores revealed in advance include the sushi buffet “Hakata Toyoichi,” “(Tentative Name) Taishoen—Yakiniku & Korean Cuisine,” where you can savor carefully selected Kyushu-produced Kuroge Wagyu beef, and “Kamakiri Udon,” which has been selected for both the Michelin Plate and Tabelog’s Top 100 Udon Restaurants. The lineup features 13 stores making their debut in a Japanese commercial facility and 9 new business formats.

The approximately 85,200 m² site, facing the ocean, features a spacious “Harbor Park” offering panoramic ocean views. Two giant “Monster Hunter” statues—the first of their kind in Kyushu—will be installed, and the park plans to feature light, sound, and mist effects. Additionally, the Ropia Group will open “Grillpia,” an all-weather barbecue area.

The two buildings are connected by a walkway, allowing visitors to enjoy everything the complex has to offer—from outlet shopping to dining, entertainment, and everyday shopping—as they explore the entire facility.

In conjunction with the opening, Showa Bus will operate routes from Meinohama Station, and Nishitetsu Bus will operate routes from Hakata Station and Tenjin Station.
