It has been announced that collaborations featuring Hiromu Arakawa’s “Fullmetal Alchemist” and “Yomi no Tsugai” will be held simultaneously at Universal Cool Japan 2027. This marks the first collaboration with “Fullmetal Alchemist” in 22 years.

Universal Studios Japan has announced further details regarding the lineup for “Universal Cool Japan 2027,” which will be held in stages starting December 2. The announcement includes a collaboration with “Fullmetal Alchemist,” based on the original work by Hiromu Arakawa—marking the first collaboration in 22 years— as well as its first-ever collaboration with the latest anime series, “Yomi no Tsugai.” Programs for both works are scheduled to begin in the spring of 2027.

The first collaboration between USJ and *Fullmetal Alchemist* was the special event “Fullmetal Alchemist: Premier Tour,” held in the spring of 2005. It marked the park’s first collaboration with a TV anime series, and it is returning to the park for the first time in 22 years. For the “Pair from the Underworld,” this marks their first-ever theme park collaboration. Details regarding the format of both attractions are scheduled to be announced at a later date.

Five titles—*Sailor Moon*, *The Apothecary’s Tale*, *Detective Conan*, *Fullmetal Alchemist*, and *Yomi no Tsugai*—will be featured at Universal Cool Japan 2027.
