Loyds Confectionery will release the limited-time, limited-quantity “Loyds Advent Calendar” on November 4 at its official online store and company-operated stores in Hokkaido. The price is 3,780 yen.
This year’s illustration theme is “A Grand Adventure Through the Christmas Room!” From December 1 through 24, when you open one dated door each day, you’ll find 24 varieties—a total of 42 pieces—of chocolate, including pure chocolate with cute designs, “Plafille Chocolat” with its rich, gooey sauce, and “Petit Bear Chocolat” filled with a cream bursting with the rich flavor of pistachios.
What’s more, some days feature hidden cute animal ornaments, and there’s a roughly 1 in 100 chance of winning the gold version of the “Long-tailed Tit & Teddy Bear” set. It’s a delicious and fun way to count down the days until Christmas.
