Rakuten Travel has been distributing municipal coupons redeemable for hotel reservations in Amami City (Amami Oshima), Kagoshima Prefecture, since October 5. The booking period runs until 11:59 p.m. on January 1, 2027, and the eligible stay period is from check-in on October 13 through check-out on February 28, 2027.
There are three types of coupons: a 10,000-yen discount for reservations of 20,000 yen or more per room (first 540 coupons), a 5,000-yen discount for reservations of 10,000 yen or more (first 400 coupons), and a 2,500-yen discount for reservations of 5,000 yen or more (first 898 coupons).
This offer applies to reservations for rooms accommodating 2 to 10 adults for up to 7 consecutive nights and can be used for year-end and New Year’s travel. Eligible accommodations include 95 properties, such as Hotel New Amami, Hotel West Court Amami, and Hotel Sundays Amami.
In addition, the “Rakuten Travel Autumn Sale,” offering up to 30% off fall and winter travel reservations every day, is currently underway through October 20. A special page for the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount,” featuring great deals in the seven prefectures of Kyushu, is also now live.
