Kinokuniya will begin selling the “Suica Penguin Mascot Bag” starting November 5. Each bag is priced at 3,300 yen and comes in three colors: green, red, and navy. The bag will be available on the official online store starting at 8:00 p.m. on November 5 and in stores nationwide starting November 6.
This is the final collaboration product between Kinokuniya and the Suica Penguin, as announced at the end of September. The palm-sized plush toy features a ribbon in Kinokuniya’s brand color and a carabiner attached to the top of its head, making it a design that naturally makes you want to “take it with you” on your daily commutes and shopping trips.
The character wears a Kinokuniya-branded eco-bag over its shoulder, and the design allows a folded eco-bag to be pulled out from its back. The mascot measures approximately 14 × 7 cm (with a total length of approximately 21 cm, including the carabiner), and the eco-bag measures approximately 32 × 25 cm.
