Nippon Travel has begun accepting new reservations for Miyazaki Prefecture under the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” travel assistance program, starting at 2:00 p.m. on October 9.
Eligible packages include JR and Shinkansen + Hotel Packages and Airfare + Hotel Packages. The discount applies to stays with check-in on or after October 8 and check-out on or before December 25 (for transportation and lodging, check-out must be on or before December 26).
For online reservations, the maximum discount per person per trip is 20,000 yen for a one-night accommodation package that includes transportation and 30,000 yen for a two-night accommodation package that includes transportation. Packages of three nights or more and tour packages spanning two or more prefectures are not eligible.
Availability in the other four prefectures of Kyushu (Fukuoka, Saga, Oita, and Kagoshima) and at retail stores has not yet been determined.
