Takarajimasha will release the December 2026 special issue of “Otona no Oshare Techo” on November 6. The price is 1,680 yen. It will be available at bookstores and online retailers.
The special edition’s bonus item is a packable bag commemorating the 40th anniversary of the original “Chibi Maruko-chan” manga. Measuring approximately 29 × 17.5 × 33 cm (width × depth × thickness), it features ample gussets and is lightweight, and can be folded up for compact storage when not in use. It’s recommended for carrying on daily shopping trips, hobby outings, and trips where you tend to end up with a lot of luggage.
In addition, the December 2026 issue of “Otona no Oshare Techo,” which goes on sale at the same time, includes a 6-piece Chibi Maruko-chan stationery set as a bonus. The price is 1,680 yen.
