USJ’s “Detective Conan World” Opens February 10, 2027. The new venue will feature a live restaurant, real-life escape games, and ride attractions.

Universal Studios Japan has announced, as part of its ongoing updates on the “Universal Cool Japan 2027” lineup, that it will host “Detective Conan World,” a limited-time event where visitors can experience the world of Detective Conan, from February 10 to June 30, 2027.

This year, the event will feature three attractions: a real-life escape game, a live restaurant, and a story ride. The live restaurant—which is being completely revamped in terms of both venue and experience for the first time since its debut in 2018—will also make an appearance.

The live-action escape game “Detective Conan: The Escape” challenges participants to work alongside Conan and his friends to solve mysteries and decipher codes in order to crack the case. It is an interactive attraction where participants physically walk around the venue searching for clues and work together with their teammates to solve the puzzles.

At the new venue, the “Peacock Theater,” the “Detective Conan Live Restaurant”—which combines dining with live performances—will be held. The event is unique in that guests can enjoy the characters’ stories unfolding right before their eyes while dining. This marks the first time since its debut in 2018 that both the venue and the experience have been completely revamped.

Tickets range from 7,000 to 8,400 yen for adults and from 2,600 to 3,200 yen for children. None of these prices include a Studio Pass (admission ticket). Details, such as the ticket sales start date, will be announced at a later date.

“Detective Conan × Story Ride” is an experience that lets you enjoy the stories of Detective Conan while riding an attraction. The thrill of the ride combines with the storylines from the series, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of Detective Conan even as you move through the ride.
