Takarajimasha will release the December 2026 issue of “That Wonderful Person” today, October 16. The price is 1,890 yen. It will be available at bookstores and online retailers.
The special supplement is a 2027 planner featuring designs of the cats that appear in “Konomama Jikoku: 53 Cats,” one of Utagawa Kuniyoshi’s masterpieces. Twelve scenes from this work—which humorously depicts the names of post stations along the Tōkaidō using “cats and puns”—have been featured as illustrations in the calendar and on its cover.
Ready to use right out of the box, this planner starts in November and features 160 full-color pages, including monthly spreads for each month and weekly pages with plenty of space for notes. The size is approximately 18.2 × 12.8 cm.
In addition, the gorgeous faux-leather cover—featuring a grand gathering of cats across 12 scenes—can be swapped onto a B6-size notebook for repeated use.
