Iconia Hospitality Begins Operating Four Hot Spring Hotels in Hakone and Nasu. The properties feature private open-air baths in guest rooms and large public baths with panoramic views.

On October 1, Iconia Hospitality began operating four new properties: “Hotel Shiki no Yakata Hakone Ashinoko,” “Hotel Mori no Kaze Hakone Sengokuhara,” “Hotel Shiki no Yakata Nasu,” and “Hotel Mori no Kaze Nasu.”

The “Hotel Shiki no Yakata Hakone Ashinoko” (103-241 Oshiba, Moto-Hakone, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture), with a total of 30 rooms, features private open-air hot spring baths in every room, including cypress and ceramic tubs. Similarly, “Hotel Shiki no Yakata Nasu” (1179-2 Takaku Hei, Nasu-machi, Nasu District, Tochigi Prefecture), which also has 30 rooms, features natural hot spring baths in every room. In addition to semi-open-air baths and baths with terraces, it offers a variety of tubs, including cypress baths, ceramic baths, and barrel-shaped cypress baths.

In addition, “Hotel Mori no Kaze Hakone Sengokuhara” (817-444 Sengokuhara, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture) features private open-air hot spring baths fed by its own natural spring in 14 of its 44 guest rooms. On the other hand, “Hotel Mori no Kaze Nasu” (1179-2 Takaku Hei, Nasu Town, Nasu District, Tochigi Prefecture) does not have open-air hot spring baths in the guest rooms; all 90 rooms are equipped with unit bathrooms or similar facilities. However, the hotel does feature a large public bath with an observation deck offering a panoramic view of the Nasu mountain range.

This marks the company’s first venture into the Hakone area, and with the start of operations at this location, its portfolio has expanded to a total of 9 properties in Kanagawa Prefecture and 10 in Tochigi Prefecture.
