Singapore Airlines Introduces Over 100 New and Revamped Menus, From First Class to Economy. Part of a Comprehensive Product Overhaul to Be Unveiled in November

Singapore Airlines is introducing more than 100 new and revamped dishes in its “Chefs’ Selection” in-flight menu category.

In addition, the airline will expand its beverage lineup and introduce new tableware in Sweet, First Class, and Business Class.

This initiative is one of the “measures aimed at enhancing the overall travel experience” that the company plans to announce in November, which include next-generation seats, in-flight entertainment, new amenities, high-speed Internet access, and ground services.

Singapore Airlines’ Chefs’ Selection, a new category on the in-flight menu, offers more than 100 new appetizers, main courses, and desserts across all classes. The selection features dishes inspired by the destinations, such as chentang, a traditional Chinese dessert, and Irish lamb stew, inspired by Irish cuisine.

The beverage menu features a carefully curated selection of champagnes and wines, offering a variety of labels from producers around the world. As a new addition to the spirits selection, the Sweet and First Class cabins will feature a Singapore Airlines-exclusive blended whiskey from Japan’s Komoro Distillery. A wide range of alcoholic beverages will also be available in Business Class and other cabins.

In Sweet First and Business Class, meals are served on new, specially designed tableware. The design is inspired by the “Maison Imperial” collection from Christofle, a French luxury tableware maison, and incorporates a reinterpretation of Singapore Airlines’ signature batik motif.
