JAL has released additional details regarding the implementation of the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” travel assistance program. Starting at 10:00 a.m. on October 5, the airline will begin accepting new reservation requests for Kumamoto Prefecture via a dedicated webpage.
This offer applies to trips departing on or after October 1 and returning on or before December 26, with a discount of 20,000 yen per person per night, or 30,000 yen for stays of 2 to 3 nights.
Eligible products are JAL Dynamic Packages (domestic airfare + lodging). Reservations that include lodging in two or more prefectures, airfare-only reservations, and optional plans such as car rentals, sightseeing, and meals are not eligible.
Regarding the status of sales in other prefectures, Fukuoka, Miyazaki, and Nagasaki have suspended accepting orders because they have reached their budget limits; however, they may resume sales without prior notice depending on cancellations. Kagoshima is currently preparing to begin sales, while Oita and Saga are not offering the product.
