J-TRIP has announced the details of the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” travel promotion on a special website. The discount offers up to 60% off for trips to Kumamoto and Kagoshima, and up to 50% off for the other five prefectures. Special travel packages for trips via JAL flights will go on sale starting at 12:00 p.m. on October 5.
Reservations will be accepted starting on the 5th in the three prefectures of Miyazaki, Fukuoka, and Nagasaki; details for Kumamoto and Kagoshima will be announced as soon as they are finalized. The company has stated that it does not handle reservations in Saga and Oita.
The eligible products are accommodation packages that include round-trip JAL flights. Reservations for these exclusive packages are limited to newsletter subscribers and users who have added the official LINE account as a friend (registration is free for both).
The maximum discount is 20,000 yen per person per night, or 30,000 yen for stays of two nights or more. The eligible stay period is October 1 through December 25 (until December 15 in Fukuoka only).
