Rikuro will open “Uncle Rikuro’s Shop: Grand Front Osaka Branch” on September 24 on the B1 level of the South Building at Grand Front Osaka (4-20 Ofuka-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture).
A flagship store within walking distance of JR Osaka Station, Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station, and Osaka Metro Midosuji Line Umeda Station. It features an attached “Riku Cafe fika,” themed around “fika” (a Swedish word meaning “tea time”), where visitors can enjoy Osaka’s famous freshly baked cheesecake and carefully crafted beverages.
Business hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and the restaurant has 46 table seats. It also offers takeout.
Uncle Rikuro’s chain currently operates 11 locations in Osaka Prefecture (as of September 11; the JR Tennoji Station location closed on September 13). At “Café Riku ROOM” in the Namba Main Store and “Café Riku terrace” in the Saito no Mori Store, they serve items such as “Super Freshly Baked Cheesecake” and “Apple Pie à la Mode.”
