Tokyo DisneySea Announces Details on the First Wave of Merchandise for the 25th Anniversary of “Imagining the Magic,” Including an Aquasphere-Shaped Blanket and More

Tokyo DisneySea will release new “Imagining the Magic” merchandise on October 15.

Photographer Masashi Asada captured images of Tokyo DisneySea as it celebrated its 25th anniversary. Approximately 120 works, photographed under the theme “Embark on a Sparkling Adventure!”, have been turned into merchandise. They will be sold in three phases.

For the first release, we’ve prepared items featuring Disney characters dressed in sparkling costumes, set against the backdrop of the park’s iconic DisneySea Aquasphere and the S.S. Columbia.

The highlight is the “blanket” (6,000 yen), which can be stored in a bag shaped like the DisneySea Aquasphere. Also making its debut are items such as “smartphone accessories” (2,500 yen), featuring thick straps as their standout feature.

In addition, a “luggage tag” (1,700 yen)—inspired by the theme of travel—will be released as an item featuring artwork from the S.S. Columbia.

We’re also selling 2L-size prints, so you can enjoy your favorite works at home. In addition, on December 3—the release date for the second wave of merchandise—we’ll publish a “photo book” (6,600 yen).
