The Shinagawa Prince Hotel (4-10-30 Takanawa, Minato Ward, Tokyo) will begin serving “Warm by the Kotatsu: ‘Anko Journey’,” the third installment of its Japanese-style afternoon tea series supervised by the Japan Anko Association, starting November 1. The event will be held at “Aji Kaido Gojusanji,” a Japanese restaurant located on the 28th floor of the Main Tower.
For the third installment, in keeping with the shop’s concept, the menu features seven types of red bean paste representing the seven post towns along the Tōkaidō, along with a variety of dishes and sweets made with local ingredients and red bean paste from those regions. Guests can enjoy an afternoon tea experience that allows them to “tour the world of red bean paste as if traveling the Tōkaidō.”
We also offer optional extras, including a re-released version of the “An Fondue”—an upgraded version of the popular item from our first series (+1,500 yen)—and the “Special Kotatsu Seats” (+500 yen), which are limited to two groups per day and require a reservation.
