Fukuoka Prefecture will resume the “Direct Bookings at Accommodations” option under the Kyushu Recovery Support Discount program starting at 12:00 p.m. on October 9. Bookings can be made by phone or online at hotels and ryokan.

Fukuoka Prefecture will begin accepting additional applications for the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” Fukuoka Campaign’s direct accommodation discounts (i.e., when guests book accommodations directly with hotels or ryokan) starting at 12:00 p.m. on October 9.

Initially, direct reservations at the inn began on September 24 but were temporarily suspended around September 28; however, reservations will be available again starting October 9. To receive the discount, simply indicate that you wish to use the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” when making your reservation through the inn’s official website or by phone, and the discount will be applied at checkout.

The maximum discount per trip per person is the same as when booking through online travel sites (Rakuten Travel, Ikyu.com, Yahoo! Travel) or travel agencies. The maximum discount per person is 20,000 yen for accommodation-only packages and one-night stays with transportation included; 30,000 yen for stays of two nights or more with transportation included; and 35,000 yen for multi-destination travel packages spanning two or more prefectures.

The discounted stay period is from October 1 to December 15 (including checkouts on December 16), and a list of participating accommodations is available on the special “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” Fukuoka Campaign website.

Bookings via OTA will begin on October 1.
