Takarajimasha will release the December 2026 issue of “That Wonderful Person” on October 16. The price is 1,890 yen. It will be available at bookstores and online retailers.
The special supplement is a 2027 planner featuring designs of the cats from “Konomama Jikoku: 53 Cats,” one of Utagawa Kuniyoshi’s masterpieces. Twelve cats from this work—which humorously reinterprets the names of the post stations along the Tōkaidō Road’s 53 Stages through “cats and puns”—appear as illustrations in the calendar and on the cover design.
Ready to use right out of the box, this planner starts in November and features 160 full-color pages, including monthly spread pages organized by month and weekly pages with plenty of space for notes. It measures approximately 18.2 × 12.8 cm. Additionally, the luxurious synthetic leather cover—featuring a gathering of 12 cats—can be detached and reused on a B6-sized notebook.
