I bought the “Coco” popcorn bucket—a Disney first—on the very first day it went on sale. The attention to detail on the glowing parts is amazing!

Tokyo Disney Resort released its first-ever popcorn bucket featuring a design from the movie *Coco* on September 15. Since I managed to get my hands on one, I’ll be sharing a photo-heavy look at it.

The new items include the “Popcorn Bucket with Popcorn Voucher” (3,800 yen), the “BB Popcorn with Bucket” (4,000 yen), and the “Popcorn with Bucket” (3,800 yen). The first will go on sale today, the 15th, and the latter two will go on sale on September 17.

The design features “papel picado” (traditional Mexican decorative paper cutouts) depicting movie scenes arranged around the bucket. A key feature of its beautiful design is the marigold on the bottom, which serves as a guide to help the souls of the dead find their way home without getting lost.

In addition, LED lights are built into the interior, and when you turn them on, the marigolds glow mystically in the candlelight. It truly recreates the atmosphere of the movie itself.

The strap also comes with a white guitar charm that plays a key role in the story. The headstock features a skull design.
