The Nara Prefecture booth featured an exhibition highlighting the “Toyotomi Brothers!” to showcase historical significance distinct from that of the Nara period.

“Tourism EXPO Japan 2026,” one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at Tokyo Big Sight for four days from September 24 to 27. In the Nara Prefecture area, the “Toyotomi Brothers!” Nara Prefecture Taiga Drama Tourism Promotion Council is operating a booth with a Sengoku period theme.

Since the drama focuses on Toyotomi Hidenaga, who moved his base to Yamato-Koriyama Castle, this booth provides detailed information on the Takatori area and the Sakurai and Uda areas, with a particular emphasis on Yamato-Koriyama, where the castle ruins are located. A staff member said, “We hope visitors will take this opportunity to discover a different side of Nara Prefecture—one that’s distinct from the well-known Asuka and Nara periods.”

The booth also features a shooting game where you can win prizes by hitting targets, as well as a raffle you can enter by following us on social media.
