“La Vista Minami-Aso” (4411-9 Hisaishi, Minami-Aso Village, Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture), a hotel operated by Kyoritsu Maintenance, has begun offering the “Kumamoto Prefecture Support Discount Plan” for residents of the seven prefectures of Kyushu.
A one-night stay with two meals included (room and meal type to be determined by the hotel; per person based on double occupancy) typically starts at 30,000 yen, but under the Kumamoto Prefecture Support Discount Plan, it is available at a special price starting at 18,700 yen. The eligible stay period begins September 1.
“La Vista Minami-Aso,” which held its soft opening on August 3 and will celebrate its grand opening on October 2, is characterized by the picturesque views of the Five Peaks of Aso—visible from throughout the facility, including the lobby, guest rooms, and large public baths. The guest rooms are divided into three buildings—the “Main Building” with a Scandinavian style, the “Annex” with a traditional Japanese style, and the “Cottages” designed for groups and families—for a total of 90 rooms.
The large public bath uses natural hot spring water and features a spacious open-air bath, a “free private sauna”—a first for Kyoritsu Resort—and a “free private bath” that requires no reservation.
Dinner features a course meal made with local ingredients and seasonal delicacies, including “Aka-ushi” beef from Kumamoto Prefecture, while breakfast offers a colorful buffet with approximately 70 varieties of Japanese and Western dishes.
