Fukui Prefecture will hold the second phase of its lodging campaign, “So Many Great Places to Discover,” from September 1 to October 31 (excluding September 19–22; valid for stays with check-out on or before November 1).
This campaign offers 5,000 yen worth of the digital regional currency “Fukui Happy Coin” per person per night when two or more people stay at eligible hotels and hot spring inns within the prefecture; the offer is valid for up to two consecutive nights. Upon check-in, guests will receive a recharge voucher at the front desk; by loading the voucher onto the dedicated app, they can use it to pay at local restaurants, souvenir shops, and other establishments.
A list of participating accommodations and stores where the coins can be used is available on the campaign’s special website. Accommodations can be booked directly with the property, through travel agencies, or via OTAs; however, the “number of recharge vouchers available” varies by property, and the offer ends once supplies run out, so please check in advance to see if vouchers are available.
