The Takasaki Festival Executive Committee has announced traffic restrictions for the “52nd Takasaki Festival,” which will be held on August 22–23 (the Grand Fireworks Display will take place on the 22nd).
Traffic restrictions will be in effect on August 22 from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Ekimae Street) and on August 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Ekimae Street).
During the traffic restrictions, vehicles will not be permitted to enter the area between the Yashima-cho Intersection and the Ara-cho Intersection; therefore, drivers heading from City Hall toward Takasaki Station will need to take a detour. Additionally, the city loop bus “Gururin” and the Takasaki Arena Shuttle will not stop at bus stops within this area.
