In response to the earthquake damage in the Republic of Colombia and following a request for assistance from the Colombian government, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will provide emergency relief supplies as follows.

An earthquake that struck the San José del Palmar region of the Republic of Colombia at around 7:30 a.m. on August 10 has caused extensive loss of life and property damage in the affected areas.
