Horai, which operates the “551HORAI” chain in the Kansai region, will implement a price adjustment on September 1.
This offer applies to classic Osaka souvenirs such as pork buns, shumai, and pan-fried gyoza (including chilled items), as well as side dishes like chimaki, ramen, and sweet-and-sour dumplings; ice pops available at select stores; boxed lunches; dine-in menu items; and takeout items such as insulated bags and microwave-safe steamer baskets.
For example, a 10-piece pack of pork buns, which used to cost 2,300 yen, will now cost 2,500 yen after the price adjustment—a 20-yen increase per bun. A 4-piece pack of chilled pork buns will go from 1,000 yen to 1,080 yen; a 10-piece pack of shumai will go from 850 yen to 950 yen; a 10-piece pack of chilled shumai will go from 900 yen to 1,000 yen; a small insulated bag will go from 250 yen to 350 yen; and a large insulated bag will go from 300 yen to 400 yen.
