On August 1, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department updated its list of locations where traffic violations are publicly enforced.
Speed violation (PDF) enforcement locations include Hanzomon Station Street in Chiyoda Ward (near 3-chome, Hayabusa-cho), the Otemachi-Ryogoku Line (near 2-chome, Otemachi), Kaede Street (near 2-chome, Kanda Surugadai), Yasukuni-dori (near Kanda-Sudacho 2-chome), and approximately 100 other locations.
Priority enforcement areas are listed, along with maps, for each police station within its jurisdiction.
In addition, routine enforcement actions are carried out against offenses such as obstructing pedestrians at crosswalks, violations on school routes (including school zones), drunk driving, and violations involving motorcycles, bicycles, and electric mobility devices.
