In conjunction with the “2026 Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival” on August 8, Tokyo Metro will add a total of 22 extra trains on the Ginza Line.
A fireworks display featuring 10,000 fireworks will be held at Meiji Jingu Gaien. To improve convenience for spectators, the Ginza Line will operate 11 additional trains in each direction—toward Asakusa and Shibuya—between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on the day of the event.
Trains bound for Asakusa will run every 3 to 4 minutes from around 7:00 p.m. to around 10:00 p.m., and trains bound for Shibuya will run every 3 to 4 minutes from around 7:00 p.m. to around 9:00 p.m. Please note that if the fireworks festival is postponed, the special schedule will also be postponed to the 9th.
