Fuji-Q Highland (5-6-1 Shin-Nishihara, Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture) opened “San-X Paradise,” a permanent area where visitors can enjoy the world of San-X characters, on August 1.
“San-x Paradise Cafe & Diner” is a restaurant where you can enjoy food featuring San-x characters in a vibrant, American diner-style setting.
The restaurant has a total of 180 seats (140 indoors and 40 on the terrace) and covers an area of approximately 520 square meters. In addition to table and sofa seating, it features booth seats decorated with the characters’ faces and counter seats featuring illustrations of the characters in their uniforms, making it a relaxing place not only for families with children but also for those visiting alone.
The food, snacks, and sweets menu features visually appealing items such as “Rilakkuma’s Makumaku Curry,” “Shirakuma’s White Stew,” and “Nyan Nyan Nyanko’s Strawberry Parfait.” Among these, the “Penguin? Cucumber Dog”—with its unusual appearance—seems to be attracting the most attention.
Each drink comes with one of 21 random charms or straw tag stickers. There are 14 menu items eligible for the charms, including not only iced but also hot coffee and tea—but with so many options, just go into it with the mindset that “you’ll be lucky if you get your favorite.”
