The Waldorf Astoria Osaka (Grand Green Osaka South Tower, 5-54 Ofuka-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka City) will begin offering a special accommodation package on July 23 in conjunction with the “38th Naniwa Yodogawa Fireworks Festival,” which will be held on October 17. Reservations can be made via the official website or by phone.
This one-night-only package lets you enjoy the fireworks from the privacy of your own room, away from the crowds, with rates starting at 450,000 yen per room per night. Each room features a platter of the chef’s special roast beef, carefully selected cheeses, and seasonal fruits, along with a bottle of champagne. The following morning, guests can enjoy breakfast at the hotel’s modern French restaurant, “Jolly Brasserie,” and have free access to the indoor pool, sauna, and fitness center throughout their stay.
In addition, the hotel’s spa, the “Waldorf Astoria Spa,” will offer a special package for the day of the fireworks display priced at 150,000 yen per person. This package includes a 120-minute spa treatment, followed by the opportunity to enjoy the fireworks while sipping champagne in the library on the hotel’s 30th floor.
The hotel will open in April 2025 within “Grand Green Osaka” in Osaka’s Umeda district as the first property in Japan for the ultra-luxury hotel brand “Waldorf Astoria.” It will feature a total of 252 guest rooms, including 32 suites, and will be fully equipped with a spa, an indoor pool, and four restaurants and bars.
