JR East’s Aomori Business Headquarters will host “Premium Time on the Shinkansen in Shin-Aomori,” an event in which the interior of an E5 Series Shinkansen train parked on the platform at Shin-Aomori Station will be opened to the public as a nighttime lounge area. The event will take place on the evening of the first day of the Aomori Nebuta Festival, from 11:40 p.m. on August 2 to 4:50 a.m. the following day.
Check-in begins at 11:00 p.m. (last check-in at 11:50 p.m.), and boarding begins at 11:40 p.m. After that, you may remain on board until the service ends at 4:50 a.m. the following day, but you may not leave the ticket gates until then. You are free to bring food and drinks on board.
