Ise City and the Ise Police Station will implement traffic restrictions in the area around the venue—the banks of the Miyagawa River (upstream from the Watarai Bridge)—in conjunction with the “74th Ise Jingu Dedicatory National Fireworks Festival” to be held on July 18.
On the day of the event, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., vehicle traffic restrictions, one-way streets, and no-crossing zones for pedestrians will be in effect. Additionally, Prefectural Road 38 (Ise-Omiya Line) will be closed to traffic from 3:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Every year, severe traffic congestion occurs around the venue, so the tournament organizing committee recommends using public transportation from the nearest station. If you are coming by car, temporary parking lots will be set up at Miyagawa Shinsui Park (approx. 450 spaces), the Shirota Junior High School grounds (approx. 230 spaces), and the Hayashu Elementary School and Nakajima Elementary School grounds (approx. 160 spaces each). However, waiting before the venue opens or making advance reservations is not permitted. Furthermore, illegal parking in the vicinity of the venue is strictly prohibited.
In addition, JR Tokai and Kintetsu will operate special trains on that day. From around 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., JR Tokai will run special trains from Yamada-Kamiguchi Station and Ise-shi Station toward Tsu and Toba.
In addition to having some express trains make temporary stops at Miyamachi Station, the nearest station, Kintetsu will operate special local trains and extended express trains departing from and arriving at Ujiyamada Station and Isuzugawa Station to improve access.
