Sanrio’s “Hotel Floria Tokyo” Opens Today. Enjoy a 360-Degree, Instagram-Worthy “New-Style Room Tour” in Shinjuku

Sony Creative Products is hosting Sanrio’s interactive exhibition, “Sanrio Characters Exhibition Hotel Floria Tokyo,” starting today, July 15, on the 4th floor of the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower in Shinjuku.

This event, which has been a hit in South Korea, is being held in Japan for the first time. Based on the theme of “Hotel Floria”—a dream hotel conceived by Sanrio characters—it offers a unique “hotel room tour” experience. Guests pick up their room keys at the “front desk” and then make their way from room to room, each packed with interactive features inspired by different characters.

Sanrio Entertainment and the Seoul-based creative production company “d’strict” are handling the production and decoration. A 360-degree, photogenic space woven from light, sound, and color will unfold, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Sanrio’s “cute” world.

In addition, the on-site shop will be selling merchandise exclusive to the Tokyo venue, such as plush keychains (2,750 yen), luggage tags (2,640 yen), and metal keyrings (1,760 yen).

The event runs through May 31, 2027. Admission is by time slot only, with entry times from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (in 30-minute intervals) each day. Tickets are available for purchase on the special Eplus webpage. Admission prices are as follows: General admission and college students—2,400 yen on weekdays and 2,600 yen on weekends and holidays; middle and high school students—1,600 yen on weekdays and 1,800 yen on weekends and holidays; and children ages 4–12 (elementary school students)—1,000 yen on weekdays and 1,200 yen on weekends and holidays.
