Venus Travel, part of the SHK Line Group, has begun selling a package tour titled “Stay Overnight in Busan on the Day of the 21st Busan Fireworks Festival! Toyoko Inn Busan Station 1 Ferry & Hotel Accommodation Free Plan,” which departs from Shimonoseki Port on November 6.
This package includes a round-trip second-class ticket on the “Kanbu Ferry,” which connects Shimonoseki Port in Yamaguchi Prefecture with Busan Port in South Korea, as well as one night’s stay at “Toyoko Inn Busan Station 1”—a hotel directly connected to Busan Port via a skywalk, just a 12-minute walk away—and one breakfast. The highlight of the tour is the opportunity to watch the “Busan Fireworks Festival,” one of South Korea’s largest events, where approximately 80,000 fireworks, music, and a laser light show light up the autumn sky.
There is no tour guide accompanying the group; after checking their luggage at the hotel, participants are free to explore the city and get around on their own. Gwangalli Beach, the venue for the fireworks festival, can be reached directly via Busan Subway Line 2, using stations such as Geumryeonsan Station or Gwangalli Station.
The tour price is 32,800 yen per person for a double occupancy room (fuel surcharges and other fees are additional). This offer is available exclusively through online reservations, and those who book by August 10 will receive an early-bird discount of 5,000 yen per person.
