Toyoko Inn Kure Station opens, a 3-minute walk from the station. The Yamato Museum and the Kure Bay Ship Tour are within walking distance.

Toyoko Inn opened the “Toyoko Inn Kure Station” (3-33 Takara-cho, Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture) on July 3.

It is a 3-minute walk from the station’s south exit and has 218 guest rooms. The surrounding area offers a wealth of tourist attractions, including the Kure Maritime History and Science Museum (Yamato Museum), the Ondo Bridge, and the Kure Bay Ship Tour (Yū-Kure Cruise), making it an ideal location for both business and leisure travelers.

Featuring downlights and new headboards, the guest rooms comply with the company’s latest specifications. The hotel offers eight room types, consisting primarily of 85 single rooms, along with 26 spacious single rooms and 39 economy double rooms. The hotel also features a paid parking lot with 25 spaces (including one for guests with disabilities) at a rate of 1,000 yen per night.

The buffet-style breakfast features local specialties such as “Gansu,” a fried fish cake famous in Hiroshima; “Nikujaga,” a dish said to have originated in Kure; and “Setouchi Lemonade,” a Hiroshima specialty.
