JR Central is launching a collaboration campaign with the TV anime “Detective Conan” as new content for “Oshi-Tabi,” a series of trips designed to let fans enjoy their favorite idols on the Tokaido Shinkansen. The campaign will run from August 10 to September 18 for the first half and from September 19 to November 9 for the second half.
If you access the campaign website while aboard a Shinkansen train, you can try your hand at solving puzzles supervised by the educational service “Detective Conan Seminar.” Those who answer all five questions correctly will receive an “acrylic keychain” (one randomly selected from three designs for each of the two campaign periods) at the Sanseido Bookstore inside the Takashimaya Gate Tower Mall, which is directly connected to JR Nagoya Station. Additionally, passengers can earn “AR photo frames” (10 designs in total) featuring original illustrations while on board.
In addition, 25 pairs selected by lottery will be invited to the JR Central × Detective Conan Seminar “Railroad Job Experience Tour!” At the JR Central Comprehensive Training Center in Mishima, participants will be able to learn about and experience various jobs related to the railroad. Conan-kun will make an appearance on the day of the event, and participants can enjoy taking commemorative photos with him. Details will be announced at a later date on the campaign website, and applications for the lottery will be accepted then.
