JR East Cross Station Development Company will release the second series of collaborative products between the lifestyle brand “BRUNO” and the “Suica Penguin” on July 14 at 10:00 a.m.
The second installment features a lineup of three kitchen appliances: a “Compact Hot Plate,” a “Steam & Bake Toaster,” and a “Multi-Stick Blender.” Each model will be available in a limited first-run production of 100 units at the company’s online store, “GRANSTA MALL.”
The compact hot plate (13,300 yen) features a penguin wearing a chef’s hat. Although it’s small enough to fit on an A4-sized surface, it can be set to a maximum temperature of 250°C and comes with a flat plate and a takoyaki plate.
The Steam & Bake Toaster (17,500 yen) features a cute design with penguins dressed as bakers. It has an interior large enough to toast four slices of bread at once and is equipped with three heating modes: steam, convection, and standard.
The Multi-Stick Blender (8,500 yen) features a design of a penguin holding a strawberry. It combines five functions—mashing, mixing, chopping, crushing, and whisking—into one unit, and is powerful enough to crush ice.
Incidentally, the first lineup of hair dryers and stick vacuums, released in June, sold out in just two days.
