To coincide with the release of the movie “Toy Story 5,” Tokyo Disneyland will host “Fan Time with Toy Story 5” from July 2 to September 14.
During the special event, “Pizza Planet”—which appears in the movie—takes over the park’s popular pizza restaurant! “Pan Galactic Pizza Port,” led by manager Tony Solaloni, has been transformed into a “Toy Story”-themed restaurant.
When I visited the restaurant right away, the windows were filled with aliens—the so-called “little green men”—who were there to welcome me.
Of course, the special set (1,180 yen) we’re offering is also “Pizza Planet”-themed. The special packaging, featuring the restaurant’s logo, is so cute you’ll want to take it home! Plus, the main attraction—the pepperoni pizza—features American-style toppings and star-shaped cheese. These toppings are reminiscent of the planet on the alien’s chest.
In addition, classic menu items like calzone have been given a complete makeover in “Pizza Planet” packaging. Be sure to try these as well.
Be sure to check out the limited-edition drinks you’ll want to order along with your meal. The Sparkling Drink: Fruit & Nata de Coco (700 yen) features colorful, toy-like toppings that are the highlight of this drink. Its gentle fizz will help you cool off for a moment in the heat of the park.
