USJ Raises Prices for Studio Passes on Busy Days; System Now Offers Lower Prices for Early Purchases

Universal Studios Japan will change its park admission ticket pricing, effective for visits on or after September 1, with tickets going on sale July 1.

The revised ticket prices will start at the minimum price range set for each day and may increase after going on sale depending on crowd levels. Basically, the system is designed so that the earlier you buy, the better the deal.

In addition, the price list effective for admissions on or after September 1 will include a new price tier of 8,400 yen, which is 500 yen lower than the lowest price over the past year.

USJ offers a variety of ticket options, including the “1-Day Studio Pass” for a single day of admission, the “1.5-Day Studio Pass” and “2-Day Studio Pass” for multiple days of admission, and the “Twilight Pass,” which allows entry after 3:00 PM.
