The Disney Resort Line will celebrate its 25th anniversary on July 27. The company has announced details of the anniversary events planned to mark the occasion.
On the same day, a special one-day pass (1,100 yen) with an original card holder will go on sale. The card holder features a vibrant design showcasing all five Resort Liner trains. Inside is a sparkling, festive one-day pass.
A total of 25,000 tickets are available, and sales will end once they are sold out. Tickets are available at Resort Gateway Station and Tokyo DisneySea Station.
When you purchase a Special Free Pass with an original card at an automated ticket machine, a voucher will be issued, which you can then exchange for the Special Free Pass with the original card at the redemption counter at the same station. Each person may purchase up to five sets per transaction.
In addition, on July 27—the opening day—only, original stickers will be given to passengers as a gift. The stickers feature a special logo designed to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Disney Resort Line. Passengers can receive them by asking a cast member.
In addition, the first-ever interactive video show tied to Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th-anniversary “Sparkling Jubilee” will also make its debut.
Titled “Magic in Motion! Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary ‘Sparkling Jubilee’ Liner,” visitors can hold their hands over an image of the Resort Liner projected onto a wall in a space where the theme song plays, causing the image to transform into the design of the “Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary ‘Sparkling Jubilee’ Liner.” The event runs from July 24 to March 31, 2027. It is located inside the ticket gates at Resort Gateway Station, adjacent to JR Maihama Station.
In addition, starting July 27, the Disney Resort Line will begin selling its first-ever free pass featuring the wrapped Liner as its motif. Souvenir medals featuring a design commemorating the 25th anniversary of the line’s opening are also currently on sale.
