“Splash Carnival,” one of the largest water play areas in the Kanto region. Featuring six types of pools and slides, this summer also includes a collaboration with “Crayon Shin-chan.”

A leisure facility operated by Sagami Lake Resort, part of the Fuji-Q Group “Sagamiko MORI MORI” (1634 Wakayagi, Midori Ward, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will open “Splash Carnival,” the Kanto region’s largest water play area with a total area of approximately 5,000 m², on June 27.

This season, the park is running a joint promotion with the movie *Crayon Shin-chan: Strange and Mysterious! My Yokai Vacation*, which opens on July 31. Set to the anime’s theme song “I’m a Popular Guy,” the event features a special, approximately 3-minute water show in which water is sprayed from a ladder truck that extends up to 10 meters high “Ladder Truck Splash,” as well as attractions like the “Water Maze”—a water maze decorated with characters from the movie—and “Spin-Spin Shooting,” a target-shooting game using water guns.

The plaza features a cold-water pool filled with ice particles created by artificial snow machines , the “MORIMORI BIG Pool”—a 6-meter-tall inflatable pool modeled after the facility’s official mascots, the “MORI MORI Brothers,” and the “Long Slider,” a 15-meter-long slide.

The facility will be open from June 27 to September 6. The admission fee is a flat rate of 1,400 yen for all ages, and a separate admission fee for “Sagami Lake MORI MORI” (a free pass is also acceptable) is required.
