Background and Objectives

We are pleased to announce the “JICA Networking Fair in Autumn 2026,” an event designed to provide an opportunity for Japanese private-sector companies and organizations considering globalization and overseas business expansion to network with JICA international students.

Under the JICA Development Graduate School Partnership Initiative, JICA invites approximately 1,000 students from about 100 countries to Japan each year as JICA scholarship students, providing them with opportunities to conduct research in master’s or doctoral programs at Japanese universities. JICA Development Graduate School Partnership / JICA Chairs | About the Program – JICA

JICA scholarship students are individuals who have primarily pursued careers as government officials, researchers, or professionals in the private sector in their home countries. They are expected to utilize the knowledge, skills, and networks they acquire through their studies in Japan to become leaders who will help solve challenges and drive development in their home countries, as well as to contribute to strengthening relations with Japan as individuals with a deep understanding of and affinity for the country.

We are seeking companies and organizations to participate by setting up booths at this event, which offers opportunities to interact with such talent. We will also hold a pre-event seminar for those interested in exhibiting. Please apply using the application form below or via the link on the flyer.
