Tickets for the “Nagaoka Matsuri Grand Fireworks Festival” are on sale by lottery until June 8. About 20,000 fireworks in the night sky of Shinano River on August 2 and 3.

The Nagaoka Fireworks Foundation in Niigata Prefecture will hold the “Nagaoka Festival Grand Fireworks Display” on August 2 and 3. The venue is the Shinano River bank (Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture), and the launch time is from 19:20 to 21:10 on both days.

The festival is one of the three major fireworks festivals in Japan, and a total of 20,000 beautiful fireworks will be shot over the two days, including the extra-large Shosanshaku Ball, the Niagara, and the Phoenix Fireworks for Reconstruction and Peace, to express the wishes for consolation, reconstruction, and peace.

For example, “bench seats” at venue A (Nagaoka Station side) and “mass seats” at venue B (Nagaoka Interchange side) are available for 5,000 yen per seat and 30,000 yen per mass (capacity of 6 people), respectively. There are no free seats available at the viewing sites.

The first round of lottery tickets for the general public has already begun, and will be available on the dedicated Rakuten Ticket website until June 8 at 5:00 p.m. The results will be notified by e-mail after 3:00 p.m. on June 17.
