Tickets for reserved seating at the “73rd Toda Bridge Fireworks Festival” go on sale June 11. The event will be held simultaneously with the Itabashi Fireworks Festival on the opposite bank, featuring approximately 15,000 fireworks.

Toda City, Saitama Prefecture, will hold the “73rd Toda Bridge Fireworks Festival” on August 1. The venue is the Arakawa Riverbank upstream of Toda Bridge on National Route 17, and the fireworks will be launched from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event will be canceled in case of inclement weather (no rescheduling).

Marking the 60th anniversary of the city’s establishment, this year’s festival will feature an original program created by local residents and will launch approximately 7,500 fireworks, including 10-inch shells—a rarity at fireworks festivals in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Another highlight is the synchronized display with the “Itabashi Fireworks Festival,” held simultaneously on the opposite bank of the Arakawa River; together, the two events will offer a total of approximately 15,000 fireworks to enjoy.

The viewing area at Todabashi will feature approximately 25,000 paid seats—the largest number ever—with a variety of seating options to suit different group sizes and viewing preferences. Advance tickets will be available at shops in Toda City starting June 11, and general sales will begin on Eplus on June 15.

Examples of general admission prices include the “Fantasia 2-Person Box Seat” at the West Venue for 10,000 yen, “General Admission” for 2,500 yen per person, the “2-Person Bench Seat” for 12,000 yen, and the “2-Person Table Seat” for 14,000 yen. At the East Venue, prices include “Luxury Seats for 2” at 90,000 yen and “Camp Chair Seats for 2” at 14,000 yen.

Please check the map on the official website for the venue layout and paid seating areas. The venue will open at 4:00 PM, before the fireworks begin, and a variety of food and drinks from unique food trucks will be available for purchase.
