The 71st Toride Tonegawa Grand Fireworks Festival will be held on August 8. Paid-seat tickets will be on sale from June 16.

Toride City Tourism Association in Ibaraki Prefecture will hold the “71st Toride Tonegawa Grand Fireworks Festival” on August 8.

The venue is Toride Ryokuchi Athletic Park (Toride 1-chome, Toride City). In case of stormy weather, the event will be postponed to the following day, the 9th. In addition to approximately 10,000 fireworks, a 15-minute drone show will be held.

Tickets for paid seats will be available online at “CN Playguide” from June 16, 10:00. Example prices (for adults) include 15,000 yen for “sajiki seating” with a capacity of five persons per square, 40,000 yen for “table seating” with a capacity of four persons per table, and 1,000 yen per person for the paid viewing area.

Some tickets (sajiki seats and paid viewing area) will also be available at the Welfare Exchange Center in City Hall and at the Toride City Tourist Association.

The areas other than these paid areas will be free areas where anyone can freely view the fireworks, but due to preparations for the event, reservations will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. on the 7th, the day before the event.
