Tokyo DisneySea and JR East will set up photo spots at select stations along the route of the “Magical Jubilee Shinkansen,” a special train on the Tohoku and Hokkaido Shinkansen lines.
The design captures the atmosphere of the anniversary event, “Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary ‘Sparkling Jubilee,'” allowing visitors to enjoy taking commemorative photos and more. The event is currently scheduled to take place at Sendai Station from June 10 to July 6.
The “Magical Jubilee Shinkansen” will begin limited-time service on June 10. The train cars will feature depictions of Mickey Mouse and his Disney friends dressed in special 25th-anniversary costumes, as well as Tokyo DisneySea’s iconic Aquasphere and Mount Prometheus. Service is scheduled to run until around early March 2027.
