I recently had a preview of this facility and stayed overnight, so I would like to share its charms with you.
Rakuten STAY is a brand of accommodation facilities. Rakuten STAY VILLA Kusatsu Onsen (745 Kusatsu, Kusatsu-machi, Agatsuma-gun, Gunma Prefecture), a new facility in the “VILLA” series, which offers large private spaces for one-room private use, will have its grand opening on May 26.
Stay in a 2-story villa type room. Of course, unlimited access to hot spring baths.
The second facility in Gunma Prefecture following “Rakuten STAY HOUSE x WILLSTYLE Takasaki,” “Rakuten STAY VILLA Kusatsu Onsen” is a 17-room villa-style accommodation facility located in a quiet forest area in Kusatsu Onsen.
All guest rooms are equipped with a barrel bath of Bandai Mineral spring water and a bath of boiled water (fresh water), allowing guests to enjoy a hot bath in a relaxed atmosphere. There are five types of rooms, each with a capacity of 6 to 12 persons. Parking is available for one car per room (free of charge, no advance reservation required), and EV chargers are available (two cars available for a fee, first-come-first-served basis).
Meals are prepared in the guest room refrigerators with pre-prepared ingredients and require only simple cooking, so users can eat at their own convenience. Everything necessary for cooking, from kitchen utensils to plates and cutlery, is provided.
The refrigerator is fully stocked with welcome drinks and food, and there is a vending machine in the common area with simple meals, snacks, ice cream, etc., so you can get everything you need for your stay without having to stop by a convenience store.
The facility itself is unmanned, and guestroom doors are equipped with smart locks that are unlocked using a key number that is sent to the guest in advance via e-mail.

E type (Capacity for 6 persons, 4 rooms per building) Room area: 96.5m2 (1F + 2F)
1st floor bedroom: 2 single beds (for 4 persons)
Second floor bedroom: 2 queen beds (for 2 people) There are 4 dog-friendly rooms for small, medium, and large dogs that can stay together for a total of 2 dogs, and the rooms are always equipped with cages, beds for beds, food bowls, pet sheets, dust boxes, and etiquette bags.
