JR West will sell plans to secure seats for some upbound sleeping cars on the Sunrise Seto (Takamatsu-Tokyo) and Sunrise Izumo (Izumo City-Tokyo) trains earlier than the one-month general sale.
The plan is “Trip to Tokyo by Sunrise Express” sold by tabiwa travel, which handles travel products through JR West’s sightseeing navigation service “tabiwa by WESTER” and is available for departures on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from July through September, and July 20, August 13 and September 21 through 23. Seat types are single deluxe, single twin, single and solo (single occupancy).
Both include an uphill ride and original goods. The Sunrise Seto boarding plan departs from Takamatsu Station at 21:26 and arrives at Tokyo Station at 07:08, while the Sunrise Izumo boarding plan departs from Izumo City Station at 18:57 and arrives at Tokyo Station at 07:08.
Applications will be accepted on the tabiwa travel website from 1:00 p.m. on May 27.
